Job Title: Ready Mix Driver

Preferred Materials, a leading supplier of ready mix concrete, concrete block, rebar, and building materials in Florida, is seeking experienced Ready Mix Drivers for our Florida operations in Fort Myers.

Job Summary:

The primary task of the Ready Mix Driver is driving to and from plant and work sites, ensuring Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies, and promoting a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive concrete mixer to work sites and discharge load
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are met
  • Comply with legislation and company policies
  • Perform other related duties, such as lifting and moving of transported materials
Requirements:
  • Class A or B driver's license with current medical card
  • No DUI's within the last 3 years
  • Minimal moving violations
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Forklift certified
