Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager to join our Service team at Kelly Generator & Equipment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching our service technicians to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics, transportation, or a related field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and maintain a professional appearance.
Responsibilities:- Schedule assigned technicians with planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
- Consult with Field Service Managers on all troubleshoot calls to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Document accurate information in our software system to facilitate seamless communication and coordination among team members.
- Schedule according to best geographical location and technician certification to maximize efficiency and reduce travel time.
- Support technicians with parts and tools for assigned work to ensure they have everything needed to complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure scheduling goals are met by monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing adjustments as necessary.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ON-CALL rotation for dispatch to provide 24/7 coverage and ensure prompt response to customer needs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company standards to represent Kelly Generator & Equipment positively.
- A High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Knowledge of transportation systems, dispatch software, and GPS tracking systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software to efficiently manage data and workflows.
