At the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Attorney to join our team as an Enforcement Expert. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of our regulatory framework and work closely with senior leaders in shaping the future of financial markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex enforcement investigations and litigation matters, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies. They will also have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, regulators, and other key partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes. You will also need to be a strategic thinker, able to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization. A proven track record of success in a similar role, combined with a deep understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks, is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex enforcement investigations and litigation matters, developing and implementing effective strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, regulators, and other key partners, ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organization.
- Conduct thorough analyses of complex regulatory issues, identifying areas of risk and opportunity for growth and improvement.
- Develop and implement targeted solutions to address regulatory challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- MBA or JD degree from a top-tier institution, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the financial regulatory space.
- Deep understanding of financial markets and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on enforcement and compliance.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of achievements and results.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
We offer a competitive salary range of $124,300 to $235,500, based on location and experience. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. We also provide comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Other benefits include participation in a 401(k) plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, and time off for volunteering and community service.
