Dietitian - Psychiatric Nutrition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). As a Dietitian - Psychiatric Nutrition Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing medical nutritional therapy to civilly committed adult patients in a psychiatric setting.

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients
• Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in psychiatric nutrition

• Registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or eligible for registration at the time of hire
• Valid Washington State Food Handler's Permit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
