Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology practice. As an integral member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical setting.

Kenneth H. Zelnick, MD. PA. is a growing and dynamic Cardiology practice dedicated to providing top-notch patient care. Our team is committed to delivering personalized service and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care and support.
  • Perform basic medical procedures and tests under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic life support (BLS) procedures.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
  • Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Familiarity with performing basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and EKGs.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
