Women's Services Float Pool Registered Nurse

As a Women's Services Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing patient care for all assigned patients, conducting initial and ongoing assessments, developing individualized patient care plans, and facilitating discharge planning and teaching.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned patients
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families
- Develop individualized patient care plans
- Provide family-centered patient teaching
- Identify and correct variances from patient care plans
- Facilitate discharge planning and teaching
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 3 of the following 4 areas – Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, Transition Nursery, NICU
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
