Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Paint Craftsman to join our team at Belfor. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial structures, and to develop your skills in painting and restoration.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for all levels of painting, including structural painting, odor seal, and interaction with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with property owners, tenants, subcontractors, vendors, and in-house employees.
  • Performs drywalling, taping, and sanding, as well as orders and delivers job materials when necessary.
  • Ensures high standards of material quality and workmanship, and monitors job sites to ensure safety and security standards are met.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience in painting, with a focus on residential and commercial structures.
  • Fluent knowledge of construction-specific budgets, federal, state, and city construction codes and regulations, and work site safety and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and floor plans, and provide strong customer service qualities and good work ethics.
