Diesel Technician

Job Summary:
Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Bridgeton, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
- Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections & repairs with minimal supervision
- Interact with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task
- Perform facility maintenance duties and other support duties as required to support operations
Requirements:
- Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy duty and medium duty equipment
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.

- Hours: Second Shift 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
