Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist-Casual to join our imaging department. This role will involve working in surgical services support, including pain clinic procedures, with a focus on providing high-quality radiographic images. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and demonstrate a strong understanding of radiology principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructs and prepares patients for radiographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of various exams and equipment, producing high-quality films consistently.
  • Writes complete patient histories for radiologists, maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Utilizes PACS systems effectively, minimizing errors and optimizing workflow efficiency.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent experience.
  • American Registry of Registered Technologist (ARRT) certification within 3 months of graduation.
  • Certified by the State of Illinois to practice and administer radiation (IEMA).
  • CPR – Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
