About the Role:

DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES MFG LP seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to focus on driving growth and activation within our Private Equity owned dealer locations. This key role will facilitate communication and collaboration between Daikin National PE team, local sales teams, and private equity partners to optimize national program participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales efforts to achieve budgetary goals and revenue targets through strategic partnerships with private equity accounts
  • Solicit new and existing PE relationships to meet/exceed sales objectives via multiple touchpoints (Zooms, in-person meetings)
  • Participate in regular business review meetings, training sessions, and other sales-related activities with divisions and PE channel as required
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customer needs
  • Making recommendations to improve service and expand local successes to new areas
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty; strengthen market position and accelerate revenue growth
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
  • Exercises sound judgment in managing personal priorities, escalating concerns to Daikin National PE team, or local sales/operations leaders when necessary
  • Communicates company vision and direction internally and externally
  • Actively participates in sales and marketing planning meetings to establish strategies, goals, and objectives
  • Monitors competitor activities and industry developments affecting product management
  • Identifies and communicates product opportunities or deficiencies
  • Develops and implements best practices for establishing, building, and maintaining client relationships positioning the company as a provider of choice
  • Identifies untapped or underdeveloped market opportunities
  • Assists in developing action plans and initiatives for each distinct market opportunity, actively updating CRM with sales/margin data points for reporting progress by brand, channel, and location

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Sales and Negotiation Skills in a services-driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and organizational skills
  • Proven sales ability at all levels within an organization
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Project Management experience is a plus

Competency & Experience:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or related field

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Management preferred or equivalent successful work experience

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
