Machinist - High Precision Parts Manufacturer

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team at Continental Disc Corporation. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for manufacturing and machining high-precision parts for use in rupture disc assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Determine setup requirements, sequence of operations, and tolerance of finished parts using blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and instructions.
- Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material as needed to set guides for subsequent machining.
- Machine bar stock to specified dimensions.
- Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using precision measuring equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Intermediate math and reading skills.
- Working knowledge of Okuma lathes, mills, and other industrial equipment used in the machine shop.
- Heavy Okuma lathe experience required.
- Ability to modify CNC programs.
- Motor skills sufficient to successfully and safely use required tools and machinery.
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
