Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Community Choice Financial Family of Brands. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Job

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing store operations, including managing financial transactions, inventory, and security measures. They will also be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to achieve business objectives while ensuring exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries. They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee store operations, including financial transactions, inventory, and security measures
  • Coach and train employees to improve their skills and performance
  • Manage marketing efforts and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance
  • Handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, financial, service, or related industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law)
