About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cultural Resource Manager to lead our team in north Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our growing cultural resources practice and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cultural resource projects and work collaboratively with colleagues in the southeastern cultural resource practice.
  • Act as the technical resource lead and/or principal investigator for cultural resource investigations for various clients and sectors.
  • Assist in proposal development by preparing technical elements, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead and collaborate on growing the cultural resources practice in north Florida, Alabama, and Georgia by establishing personnel and physical resources.
  • Provide supervision, training, technical direction, and mentoring to developing staff.
Requirements
  • MA or MS in archaeology or a related field with an emphasis on Georgia and southeastern cultural resources.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cultural resources, with proven project management and program development expertise.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the application and interpretation of Georgia and federal laws and regulations for projects of all sizes.
  • Proven experience working with regulatory agencies, such as the Florida State Historic Preservation Office, Alabama SHPO, or Georgia SHPO.
