About the OpportunityThis internship is designed for transitioning service members who are interested in pursuing a career in recruitment and human resources. As a SkillBridge Recruiter Intern, you will support the recruitment team in identifying, engaging, and selecting top talent for various roles within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, military networks, and other channels.
- Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Applicant Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Employer Branding: Assist in promoting the company's brand, particularly in military and veteran communities.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Data Management: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, helping to optimize the hiring process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align candidates accordingly.
- Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience preferred, but not required.
- Currently serving in the U.S. military and eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
- Is within 4 to 12 months of separation or retirement.
- Will receive an honorable discharge.
- Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
- Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
- Received Unit Commander written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to the start of the internship.
- Meets DoD SkillBridge qualifications as per DODI 1322.29.
- Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
