We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
Responsibilities- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions related to the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to identify potential health issues.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and their families.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to inform future care decisions.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations to optimize reimbursement.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
- Perform procedures as needed to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to inform care decisions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice to ensure compliance.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to optimize practice.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices to optimize patient care.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training to enhance clinical skills.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to inform practice.
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
$260.06 - $273.06 /hour
