Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our Packaging Materials division. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Americas, this position is responsible for initiating, growing, and maintaining business relationships with customers through personal visits, telephone conversations, and other forms of media. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry and Stora Enso's products, with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Consumer Board sales to the market.
  • Support sales activities to existing and new potential customers.
  • Manage local profitability and working capital.
  • Report KPIs related to sales, profitability, and working capital.
  • Develop and execute Division/Segment sales plans to the specific market/country.
  • Execute marketing initiatives locally.
  • Input yearly sales budgeting and plans.
  • Ensure customer data, price, and rebate agreements are up-to-date in our order entry and invoicing system (Fenix) in cooperation with CSCs.
  • Participate in customer meetings and provide input and support in customer negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Participate in and support possible Key Account Management teams.
  • Maintain customer information in CRM, including uploading customer visit reports.
  • Obtain customer contracts and ensure approval by Division Management.
Authorities:
  • The position holder has the authority to identify and develop sales to new and existing customers.
  • Obtaining customer agreements within the guidelines of the Division and ensuring that Division Management approves the agreements.
  • The position holder does not have the authority to conclude customer agreements or their terms on behalf of the selling unit.
Requirements:
  • Experience from sales of converted paperboard packaging products is an advantage.
  • Initiative-taking attitude and outgoing character with excellent social skills.
  • Ability to perform different tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • An excellent team player.
