Job Summary

This Medical Assistant Specialist role is an excellent opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals who make a difference in people's lives every day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine administrative and clinical tasks, under direct physician supervision, to ensure smooth operations at our medical centers.

  • Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history.
  • Catalog and communicate patient needs to physicians and other clinical personnel.
  • Assist with exams, explain treatment procedures, and administer medications under physician guidance.

Maintenance of supplies, equipment, and accurate documentation are also essential responsibilities of this role.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or similar in a hospital, medical clinic, or comparable environment.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

This estimated salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and experience.

Please note that this role requires flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time to support covering other centers.
