Job Title:

Medical Support Specialist

At Saint Peter's Healthcare System, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), patient transfers, and discharges, monitors basic physiological parameters as delegated by the RN.
  • Provide age-specific care as directed by RN. Participate in planning and evaluation of patient care by communication of all information pertinent to patient's status.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Provide for patient hygiene, comfort, and safety.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of at least one of the following: Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician or Certified Medical Assistant Training Program, one semester of nursing fundamentals, Saint Peter's PCT Training Program.
  • Previous related experience or EMT.

Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
