Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple. As a member of our Ophthalmology practice, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment that values teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $425,000, including a comprehensive benefits package, CME reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality surgical and clinical care to patients with vitreo-retinal conditions
  • To participate in the education and training of residents and fellows through our well-established Ophthalmology Residency Program
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and vitreo-retinal surgery

Requirements:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine (M.D.) or equivalent
  • Fellowship Training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery required
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible with the American Board of Ophthalmology
