Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain the health of our automated systems, including robotic vehicles and warehouse management systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve system performance.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to site teams and customers, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of our technology.
- Document and report issues to engineering teams, working closely with them to develop solutions and implement improvements.
- Train and assist operators on our system, including automated adapters, vertical lifts, and other IT systems.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the escalation of production-impacting problems, working closely with teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement, standardization, and innovation in our warehouse automation solution.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA and Symbotic standards.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering, computer science, automation engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with automated systems, including PLCs, robots, and software languages such as SQL, Linux, and Python.
- Excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and in an environment of changing priorities.
- Desire to learn new equipment and assist team members as needed.
- High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
