Job Summary

TEN is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to secure contracts, cultivate customer relationships, and drive business opportunities in the Washington DC/MD/VA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy efficiency solutions and the ability to communicate TEN's value proposition to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify, pursue, and secure new business with assigned local and municipal targets
  • Develop an understanding of prospective customer's business objectives to ensure successful solution alignment
  • Work with TEN's technical team to identify and develop solutions that meet customer needs
  • Identify potential business targets through direct selling, supplier relationships, and industry events
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of consultative sales experience in construction or energy services
  • Familiarity with state and federal legislation pertaining to procurement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
