Plumber II

At Service Experts, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber II to join our team. As a key member of our HVAC and Plumbing team, you'll be responsible for leading plumbing projects, performing advanced installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.

• Analyze and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including replacing defective washers, repairing or replacing broken pipes, and opening clogged drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, or fixtures, using hand or power tools.
• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle, using hand or power tools or machines.
• Review blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures.
• Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.
• Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for.
• Maintain current plumbing and/or gas license in accordance with governmental regulations.
• Follow standard procedures and process, ensuring the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed.
• Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities.

• Report any unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards to direct supervisor/manager immediately.
• Report any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure, or program to direct supervisor/manager immediately.
• Correct substandard acts or conditions within area of control.
• Use and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s).
• Never remove or render ineffective any safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or worn.
• Comply with the general rules as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s).
• Operate devices or equipment as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s).
• Participate in any safety initiatives, teams, or committees.
• Report all injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediately.
• Provide input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents.
• Do not perform any act that may endanger the safety or well-being of others.
• Do not engage in any pranks, contests, or rough boisterous behavior.
• Work in compliance with applicable legislative requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber I or 5-10+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience in interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.
