Job Summary:This Sanitation and Environmental Control Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in ensuring product safety and maintaining a clean and efficient food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily sanitation of all processing lines, adhering to strict guidelines for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Promote a safe work environment through knowledge of the sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for all employees.
- Maintain and ensure product safety throughout the plant, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures.
- Coordinate daily sanitation activities within the plant, effectively managing resources and personnel.
- Assist in maintaining high audit and inspection ratings by ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- A self-directed individual capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and OSHA requirements.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred, although prior experience in sanitation roles is not necessary.

This role is deemed Safety Sensitive under Butterball's Drug/Alcohol Screening & Testing Policy. Details will be provided upon request or conditional job offer.
