Ferrovial Construction US Corp. is a leading provider of engineering and construction services for large transportation infrastructure projects in North America. Our team is responsible for designing and building complex projects, including highways, railways, tunnels, and airports.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MEP Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist our engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of MEP systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of MEP systems for various projects
Perform calculations and review drawings according to codes and standards
Assist in project management tasks such as budgets, schedules, and quality control
Contribute to developing design optimizations
Help to estimate bills of quantities and perform quality checks
Requirements:
Currently working towards a BS, MS, or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Knowledge and practical experience in MicroStation and design software such as AGI32, HAP, and Trace 3D Plus are a plus
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
