Anti-Terrorism/Physical Security Countermeasures/Contingency Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Counterterrorism and Physical Security Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing countermeasures, and providing expert advice on antiterrorism and physical security matters.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments of customer locations, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, and developing detailed reports of findings.
- Develop and implement countermeasures to mitigate identified threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, providing expert advice and guidance to customers on antiterrorism and physical security best practices.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective contingency plans, ensuring business continuity and minimizing risk.
- Provide training and support to customers on antiterrorism and physical security protocols, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to protect their assets and personnel.
- 5+ years of experience in counterterrorism, physical security, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
