Cleveland Clinic's Fairview Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident I - Progressive Coronary Care to join our team. As a member of our Progressive Coronary Care Unit, you will provide high-quality care to cardiac patients and work alongside experienced caregivers to develop your skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Coronary Care Unit
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
- Document in patients' medical records
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
This role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. You will also need to stand and walk for extended periods of time and work under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
