Emergency Department Nursing Coordinator Position in St. Petersburg

About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and efficient departmental operations during your designated shift.
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to optimize throughput and deliver exceptional patient care.
- Contribute to ongoing quality assessments of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
- Foster a culture of teamwork by working closely with subject matter experts and other managers to achieve improved outcomes and service excellence.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Help operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to enhance engagement and patient satisfaction.
- Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members, as well as implementing courses of action to ensure a competitive organization.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor aspects according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- A valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- A valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- A Registered Nurse (RN) diploma or degree.
- An Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
