Job Description

Ball Horticultural Company is a global leader in the floriculture industry, seeking a skilled Customer Relations Specialist to provide top-tier service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from Ball customers, year-round, and provide support with product selection, order placement, and order changes.
  • Qualify potential customers, establish new accounts, and handle customer concerns with effective solutions.
  • Perform order tracking and investigative work, involving plant tags, freight, and back-ordered plant material, with necessary follow-up to customers and other interested parties.
  • Cross-train in all Customer Relations functions and assist in executing reports and documents used to help customers rebook orders each season.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries regarding literature requests and support the department by taking on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Two years of customer service, marketing, or inside sales experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in business, marketing, sales, and/or horticulture.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of SAP software systems is desirable.
  • Demonstrate experience in working well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Strong phone handling and active listening skills.
  • Spanish fluency is desirable.
