Job Title: Island Activities Assistant Manager

The Island Activities & Hawaiian Culture Assistant Manager assists with management of the Division to include: Love L?na'i Experiences Desk (L?na'i Experience Associates, Guest Activities Attendant, Island Activities Supervisor), Culture (L?na'i Culture Coordinator, L?na'i Cultural Advisors) for Four Seasons Resorts Lana'i

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing, training and monitoring staff and supporting staff development
  • Ensuring staff adhere to safety regulations
  • Ensuring that equipment and facilities are safe and that guests are instructed in safety procedures
  • Assessing risk and acting upon any issues arising from this assessment
  • Providing instruction in a specialist area
  • Undertaking courses to keep your own qualifications and skills current
  • Planning appropriate programs of outdoor activities for guests and groups
  • Preparing educational resources for staff
  • Dealing with queries, problems and complaints from guests
  • Purchasing, checking, maintaining and preparing equipment
  • Evaluating the work of the Centre and planning new activities to meet changing demands
What We Look For:
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Basic Technical skills and knowledge required (Systems: Excel, Word).
  • Excellent communication skills able to manage teams and coordinate departments working together.
  • Valid Hawaii Driver's License required.
  • Able to operate large vehicles to include vans, transit and sprinters.
  • Knowledge of outdoor activities preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Hawaiian Culture and L?na'i preferred.
  • Strong Business Acumen
