Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly skilled Wargame Analyst to support major Marine Corps Wargaming programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the results of multiple wargames and writing comprehensive reports. You will work closely with government and contractor wargame designers, staff officers, analysts, and writers to develop and implement wargame research questions and associated Collection, Assessment, and Production plans. Additionally, you will conduct background research and literature reviews in support of wargame design and post-game assessment. Your expertise will be essential in developing requirements for qualitative and quantitative analysis and integrating results into overall assessment. You will also lead and coordinate a team of recorders for capturing wargame data and conduct post-game assessment, including leading assessment workshops, conducting data analysis, and synthesizing wargame results. Your exceptional writing skills will be showcased in structuring and writing wargame reports and post-game briefing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the results of multiple wargames and write comprehensive reports.
  • Develop and implement wargame research questions and associated Collection, Assessment, and Production plans.
  • Conduct background research and literature reviews in support of wargame design and post-game assessment.
  • Develop requirements for qualitative and quantitative analysis and integrate results into overall assessment.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of recorders for capturing wargame data.
  • Conduct post-game assessment, including leading assessment workshops, conducting data analysis, and synthesizing wargame results.
  • Structure and write wargame reports and post-game briefing products.

Requirements:

  • Active DOD Secret clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to work in collaborative team/staff environments.
  • Strong writing and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps doctrine and warfighting concepts.
  • MS Office, to include MS Word and ability to build professional PowerPoint presentations.
  • Must be able to provide a writing sample.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate of military service intermediate level school (CSC, CGSC, Naval Command and Staff).
  • Published author in professional journal(s).
