Job Overview


We are currently seeking a skilled Landscape Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing design and production support on residential and site development projects. Responsibilities include monitoring work for compliance with applicable codes, applying landscape and planning practices, and ensuring effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and project consultants.


Key Responsibilities



  • Work closely with a team of Engineers, Landscape Architects, CAD Designers, and Technicians to complete assigned projects.
  • Prepare site layout studies for minor and major subdivisions.
  • Conduct due diligence research and reporting.
  • Communicate and coordinate with reviewing agencies, clients, and contractors.
  • Assist in preparing deliverables, including conceptual and schematic site layouts, feasibility studies, design development, and construction plans.
  • Analyze and stay up-to-date on regulations and criteria for local, state, and federal agencies related to landscaping and planning standards.
  • Attend planning commission meetings.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Maintain knowledge of landscape and planning CAD standards and advanced Civil 3D functionality.

Requirements and Qualifications


We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture and the ability to obtain a Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license. A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering related to land development projects is necessary. Technical writing experience and land and site planning expertise are also required. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office platforms, including Microsoft Project, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with a willingness to learn and expand responsibilities.


Salary and Benefits


Based on the location and job requirements, the estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per year. D.R.
