Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Infojini Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex CT procedures, using professional judgment to review and obtain patient clinical history, and preparing and screening patients for exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures, including identifying and administering contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Review patient prescriptions to verify appropriateness of exams and communicate with radiologists and referring physicians as needed.
  • Verify insurance authorized exam scripts and send exam modification forms to finance for re-verification.
  • Obtain outside studies and schedule them in EPIC to ensure availability in PACS for radiologists to compare.
  • Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians, and evaluate radiographs to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program and NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
  • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, radiological positioning, and PACS systems.
  • Team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six months CT experience and knowledge of Epic and HIS/RIS systems.
  • ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred.
Work Environment

This is a 13-week assignment with a 7PM-7:30AM shift, 3x12s, every other weekend, and no call. Float required between Ocean Care Center and Ocean University Medical Center.
