About the Role

The Sales Executive for Data Universe will be part of a highly experienced team with deep knowledge and expertise in the data and AI industries. This role involves prospecting for new business and developing existing accounts within a designated territory. The successful candidate will sell booth space, promotional opportunities, and digital products to help customers showcase their brand and achieve their goals for the show.

Responsibilities
  • Develop individual selling strategies in collaboration with Sales Management
  • Generate prospects, pipeline, and sales targets for booth and media sales
  • Adhere to selling process best practices and standards, including data input, territory management, daily output goals, and weekly strike rates
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and climate to inform sales strategy recommendations
  • Sell at competing shows and prepare show analysis and reports in a timely manner
  • Manage and broaden Exhibitor Prospect Lists to increase sales probability
  • Forecast revenue projections
  • Obtain signed contracts and ensure timely payment for all space reservations
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of the data and AI environment
  • Enjoy cold calling and prospecting for new business
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and present professionally
  • Demonstrate a value-based selling approach that delivers solutions for clients
  • Well-developed organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Salesforce, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel as required
