About the Role

This Nurse Coordinator role plays a vital part in our team, ensuring seamless clinical care coordination and organization for patients within our practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively under direct supervision, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Monitoring expiration dates of medical supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Triage of patient inquiries and communication of test results
  • Participation in unit-based in-service and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and best practices in the field
  • Provision of in-office patient care services, including obtaining patient histories, vital signs, venipuncture, specimen collection, administering vaccines/medications, and educating patients
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements to ensure smooth functioning of the practice and optimal patient care
