About the Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Project Policy Analyst 4 to join our team. The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of organizational- or research-specific computer application programs, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.

Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Assess, weight, organize backlog of CPRA requests, beginning with 2024.">
  • Work with the administrative director to bring requests up to date, including sending and recording 10-day letters, following up with requesters, identifying record custodians, sending advisory of disclosures as needed to vendors, reviewing, redacting, and producing responsive non-exempt records, tracking request activities in PRA database.">
  • Collaborate with the administrative director to develop processes and best practices to ensure that requests are processed and closed in a timely manner.">
  • Lead efforts to conduct highly complex analyses across a broad spectrum of programs, policies, and initiatives or provide in-depth, complex analyses as a specialist in one policy field.">
  • Develop and coordinate policy or program communications; formulate strategies for education and enforcement.">
  • Develop and advocate solutions to organizational or research program issues, including developing and administering new systems, policies, processes, or programs.">
  • Provide analyses for complex budget, funding, financial, or academic data, systems, and resource projects, working directly with internal and external constituents.">
  • Propose, lead, and/or participate on policy, strategy, and planning committees and working groups.">
  • Research and summarize best practices in the field.">
  • Develop proposals and recommendations to guide and support a broader strategic direction for the function, research initiative, program, and/or organizational unit.">
  • Collaborate with partners to coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of new programs and processes.">
  • Make high-level contacts of a sensitive nature, internally and externally, requiring discretion and diplomacy to negotiate with or persuade officials to adopt proposed solutions or program/process recommendations.">
  • Lead and direct a wide variety of projects and follow through with all levels of staff and individuals inside and outside the organization.">
  • Guide and direct planning which may include senior management, faculty, and/or external constituencies.">
  • Lead a team of lower-level analytical, research, and administrative staff, as needed.">
  • Develop and present complex proposals on a broad range of issues, including problem identification, costs, benefits, and options.">

Salary and Benefits

">

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $73,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications. UCSF offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
