Hospital Pathologist with Medical Directorship Duties

Job Summary:
Quest Diagnostics' AmeriPath is seeking a Hospital AP/CP General Surgical Pathologist with Medical Directorship duties. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GU, GI, GYN, Head and Neck, Breast, Oral, and cytology with no grossing of specimens.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports
- Collaborate with the pathology team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in medical directorship duties, including leadership and strategic planning
Requirements:
- Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of FL or be eligible to obtain licensure
- Medical Degree
- AP/CP, Cytopathology Board Certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in Digital Pathology, Artificial Intelligence, and Precision Medicine
- Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations
- Ability to communicate with high-level decision makers in the organization
