Job Overview

The Delivery Merchandiser Trainee is a key role within our team, responsible for learning and becoming proficient in the daily duties of route delivery and merchandising. This position requires a fast-paced individual who can effectively service customers using all necessary equipment, including invoicing and handling cash and paperwork accountability.

This trainee will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in various areas, including driving a Class A CDL vehicle, obtaining required licensing, and understanding commercial plans execution. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining displays of products, product facing, and brand order, while ensuring Company standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date.
  • Under supervision, learn processes and gain skills necessary to service customers, including invoicing using a handheld device and check-in/out accounting procedures.
  • Develop good rotation practices, understand how to execute commercial plans in customer outlets, and maintain displays of products, product facing, and brand order.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety standards and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules regarding DOT and Hours of Service.
Requirements
  • Beverage industry knowledge and customer management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and sales skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and multiple times a day, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving history required, with ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) if not already held.
Compensation

We offer a competitive pay rate of $145-$150 per day, depending on experience, with opportunities for career advancement and growth within the company. Full-time teammates are also eligible for benefits such as paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company matching.
