Job Title: Warehouse Stocker - Case Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker - Case Handler to join our team at the Deerfield Distribution Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that cases are efficiently removed from stack lanes, verified for accuracy, and securely placed on carts or pallets. You will also ensure that products are stacked, wrapped, and labeled properly, and maintain a clean work area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Remove cases from stack lanes and verify store numbers
  • Place cases securely and damage-free on carts or pallets
  • Ensure product is stacked, wrapped, and labeled properly
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to work nights
  • Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
  • Pass a Physical Agility Test (before start date)
  • Successfully complete a Work Attitude Survey (WAS2)
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
  • Be able to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods
  • Be able to bend, stoop, and twist
  • Be able to stack product of varying weights
  • Be able to work under strict time requirements
  • Be able to read, write, identify, and verify numbers
  • Be able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
  • Have the ability to work well with others and be a team member
  • Show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work
  • Show commitment to Publix's mission

  • Current Deerfield Distribution associate

Compensation and Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $17.50 per hour, based on industry standards and market rates. This salary may vary based on experience and qualifications. In addition to hourly pay, associates may be eligible for various differentials, including night differential, weekend differential, and freezer differential. Publix also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
