Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $20-$22 per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition to your hourly wage, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits designed to support your physical, mental, and financial well-being.

About the Role

The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing documentation of dental services to dentists or their designees. This involves maintaining accurate records of dental findings, scheduling patients for appointments, and ensuring the best possible care for patients. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills, this may be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures, sterilize instruments, and mix restorative materials as needed.
  • Perform intra-oral and extra-oral x-rays, develop and mount x-ray films.
  • Maintain x-ray, processor, autoclave, and dental unit(s) according to specifications.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, order supplies, and ensure setup of trays for patients.
  • Complete daily instrument count sheet, perform dental screenings, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dental clinic through careful practices.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or Certification in Dental Technology from an accredited school.
  • At least 1 year of experience within a private or public dental practice as a Dental Technician or Registered Dental Assistant.
  • Must demonstrate consistent sound judgment with dental decisions within the correctional healthcare environment.
