Remarkable Hospice Representative

At Remarkable Hospice Companies, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families. We are seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team and help us expand our services.

About the Role

The Remarkable Hospice Representative will work closely with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals to educate them about our services and promote the benefits of hospice care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships and establish trust with our community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide feedback to the agency regarding community needs and preferences
  • Establish professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and healthcare decision-makers
  • Educate the community, referral sources, patients, and families on hospice services through daily planned activities
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal laws relating to the promotion of the agency
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop new programs and promote the agency's positioning within the marketplace
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Marketing or Business
  • 2+ years of sales/business development experience in the healthcare industry
  • Hospice, Pharmaceutical, Skilled Nursing, Durable Medical Equipment, and/or Home Health Experience
  • Proven track record of excellent sales performance
