Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator to join our team at Darling Ingredients, Inc.

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate commercial motor vehicles to pick up raw materials while providing excellent customer service.
  • Run established routes, weigh in raw materials, and maintain cleanliness at customer locations.
  • Conduct safety checks and inspections on vehicles, adhering to state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude to ensure excellent customer relations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum age of 21 years.
  • A valid CDL Class A license with a clean MVR record.
  • Registration on the national database.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Dependability and reliability.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.
  • Ongoing need to reach up with both arms to secure tarps and other equipment.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
