About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Care Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. As a Registered Nurse Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • You will assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • You will provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • You will educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding.

Requirements
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Texas License or Compact State License.
  • You must have Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • You must have a minimum of 1 year experience preferably in Oncology or Hematology.
