Job Summary:

The Senior Vice President, Information Technology is responsible for overseeing the development, planning, implementation, maintenance, and execution of the organization's information systems strategy to support business objectives and drive innovation. This role provides strategic guidance and leadership to the IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall IT strategy and direction for the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute IT budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support business growth.
  • Lead the IT department in the creation and execution of disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity plans.
  • Establish relationships and build roadmaps with internal and external business units to drive IT innovation and adoption.
  • Provide IT resources to support project management office initiatives and ensure project requirements, timelines, and expectations are met.
  • Oversee corporate office facilities and security, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
  • Lead the IT department in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate and approve hardware, software, and managed services contracts.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors to support staff augmentation and system support.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, management, board, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of IT initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of developing and managing IT budgets.
  • 15+ years of overall IT management experience at an IT Director level or equivalent.
