Job Description

The IT Service Desk Lead/Manager is responsible for overseeing end-user support teams and providing technical assistance to end-users in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves leading the support team, ensuring that all support requests are properly documented and tracked.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-user support team, providing technical services across various platforms.
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via multiple channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Document and track all support requests using a ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for end-users.
  • Provide training and support for hardware and software applications.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications and Skills

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with 5 years of IT experience. An Associate's degree and 10 years of experience are also acceptable.

Required skills include:

  • 5+ years of experience in computer systems administration, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining VMware Datacenter, Horizon View, and network storage.
  • Expert-level experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory and infrastructure systems.
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $101,400.00 - $183,300.00 per year. Leidos offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
