Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construction Scheduling: Develop and manage construction schedules to ensure timely completion of electrical related activities.
  • Electrical Work Activities Oversight: Supervise and direct the daily efforts of electrical construction, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
  • Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Materials Management: Verify material deliveries meet specifications and are stored properly.
  • Project Scheduling: Collaborate with project management to develop and implement project procedures and schedules.
  • Engineering and Contractual Performance: Ensure compliance with engineering and contractual requirements.
  • Client and Subcontractor Relationship Building: Build effective relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Project Procedure Development: Develop and implement project procedures and standards.
  • Purchase Requisition Authorization: Authorize purchase requisitions under supervision of Construction Manager and Project Manager.
  • Electrical and Instrumentation Installation Oversight: Provide oversight of electrical and instrumentation installation.
  • Daily Field Reporting: Complete daily field reports and take daily pictures to document construction progress.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Read, interpret, and understand isometric drawings, structural drawings, and P&IDs.
Requirements:
  • Construction Scheduling: Experience with construction scheduling software.
  • Electrical Work Activities Oversight: Knowledge of electrical codes and specifications.
  • Safety Management: Experience with safety management protocols.
  • Materials Management: Knowledge of materials management procedures.
  • Project Scheduling: Experience with project scheduling software.
  • Engineering and Contractual Performance: Knowledge of engineering and contractual requirements.
  • Client and Subcontractor Relationship Building: Experience with building relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Project Procedure Development: Experience with developing project procedures and standards.
