Job Summary:

Payson City is seeking a skilled Water Operator II to join our team. As a key member of our water operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and construction of our culinary water system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and construction of the City's water distribution system.
• Work under the general supervision of the Water Superintendent to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the water system.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in construction, maintenance, and repair of water distribution systems.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License and Utah State Class II Water Certification required.
• Ability to obtain a UDOT Flagging Certificate within three months of hire.

Work Schedule:

• 40+ hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
• Required to participate in the on-call rotation, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
