Are you passionate about flying and working in a fast-paced environment where every second counts? We are hiring a Medical Air Transportation Specialist to join our team at Med-Trans. As a medical air transportation specialist, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities while working closely with a team of medical experts.

**Salary:** $110,000 - $120,000 per year, including a 24% Geo Modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $40,000 retention bonus after 3 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities using helicopters.
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including MTC and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with required certifications and ongoing training to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Possess a Helicopter instrument rating.
  • Hold a Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Achieve a total of 2,000 flight hours.
  • Achieve 1,500 hours of helicopter experience.
  • Achieve 1,000 hours of helicopter pilot-in-command experience.
  • Achieve 1,000 hours of turbine helicopter experience.
  • Achieve 200 hours of helicopter night flight experience (aided or unaided).
