We are seeking a skilled Broadcast News Reporter to join our dynamic newsroom at FOX13 Memphis. As an Investigative Journalist, you will be responsible for developing sources and enterprise important journalism daily. You will also be expected to remain knowledgeable of all local and national news, pitch original local stories with high value, and execute direction presented in station research.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in journalism or a related field, 2 years of reporting experience, and demonstrate solid news judgment. They must be a team player willing to collaborate, value a diversity of voices to build strong journalism, and excel under pressure. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required.

Job Requirements

  • Reporting Experience: The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of reporting experience.
  • News Judgment: Demonstrating solid news judgment is crucial for this role.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
