ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in providing exceptional school-based therapy services. As a dedicated Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, and providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders to ensure students receive the necessary support.
  • IEP Development: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students to meet their unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments to help them meet their educational goals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' educational goals and ensure a cohesive learning environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to ensure students receive the necessary support.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the state of employment.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
