Job Function

The Multi-Site Resources Manager will be based out of Mayfield Heights, OH, and will provide leadership, establishing and implementing human resources processes that support the strategic mission of the overall business for the Americas. This role will ensure a culture of openness and employee engagement, engage and align local HR resources on business strategy, and manage all aspects of the HR function within the assigned geography.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, recruitment, retention, and performance management processes.
  • Implement global HR programs, processes, and practices across the Americas.
  • Provide coaching and consulting support to management and site employees on talent management, including selection, assessment, development, deployment, engagement, and retention of talent.
  • Build effective community involvement programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Lead efforts and provide guidance on organization effectiveness, change, and design interventions and initiatives within the respective geographic area of responsibility.
  • Assess, prioritize, and represent geographic workforce needs and HR operations.
  • Drive annual performance reviews, compensation, and succession planning processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related paperwork.
  • Work with Site HR representatives on creative, alternative staffing paths.
  • Primary responsibility to keep current on all trends and issues that affect HR and alert Site contacts with the implications.
  • Work with federal, state, and local educational institutions to secure training grants and develop educational partnerships.
  • Act as a mediator between management and employees to resolve conflicts, address complaints, and improve workplace relations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws, including OSHA regulations and EEOC standards.
  • Oversee and manage relationships with union representatives, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, handle grievances, and ensure compliance with union contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Preferred Master's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Passion and aptitude for employee development, coaching/mentoring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Able to juggle competing demands, prioritize, work with a sense of urgency, meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and deliver on commitments in a fast-paced high-energy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills in dealing with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and a technical aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Union experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • 3+ years of management experience preferred.
